SUMMARY:2023 Ten Days of Packard
DESCRIPTION:During the entire month of August\, the state of Michigan permits classic cars that are registered on historic and authentic vintage license plates to be driven as everyday transportation. Typically\, use is restricted to recreational purposes only.  Motor City Packards encourages members to drive their cars as much as possible for the 10-day period following the August 18\, 2023\, Berkley CruiseFest north of Detroit\, and share photos of their adventures with the Club and via social media channels.  \nIn addition to being a good excuse to put some miles on your Packard\, this is a fun\, engaging way to spread awareness of our favorite marque. You won’t believe how many smiles and thumbs-up you receive! \n

SUMMARY:Berkley CruiseFest and Afterglow
DESCRIPTION:Start the 2023 Woodward Dream Cruise weekend right with the Berkley CruiseFest car parade. This is a great way to show off your Packard\, and the parade format means cars won’t overheat in the typical Saturday Dream Cruise traffic.  \nThe parade commences at 5:00 PM\, and we will gather afterward for dinner at L. George’s Coney Island (26799 Greenfield Rd\, Southfield\, MI).  \nThis is also the kickoff to our annual Ten Days of Packard event.  \nADVANCE REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS REQUIRED\, AND MUST BE SUBMITTED BY JULY 7.  \nVisit the City of Berkely website for registration information. There is a $10 per vehicle registration fee.
